Broodmother is a semi-carry, and quite possibly one of the most irritating and self reliant pushers to lane against. Broodmother is such a strong laner, this is primarily what her playstyle revolves around. As she is so survivable in a lane, and is also able to push down towers with an army of Spiderlings, Broodmother typically lives a solitary lifestyle sitting in her lane for much longer than the typical hero constantly threatening the towers of whatever lane she is in. In doing so she presents the enemy with the conundrum of either sending multiple heroes to deal with her on a constant basis, or risk losing multiple towers and potentially a Barracks to her constant pressure.

Being reasonably tanky and having the built in critical chance of Drunken Brawler seemed to make him a carry in my mind. While there are a lot of heroes who are focused on ganking, there aren't many that are focused in the ways that Bounty Hunter is. Ganking is about the only thing Bounty Hunter is good for, but fortunately, he is very good at it. Bounty Hunter fills the role of a mostly physical damage based ganker and semi-carry. While he can make use of extra levels or gold, unlike a hard carry he doesn't need either and will never make as good of use of the those advantages as a full-fledged carry would.

I've been going back and forth whether or not to make this an article or just a post on the forums, but I think as an article, it'd work better. I've come to the hard-to-make decision that I am going to step down from all of my positions here at Couch Athletics, so I can focus more on my Ask Serious Rainbow blog.

I'm also resigning as event manager for Thursday Night Gaming Shuffle. Running both it and the tumblrpon version, Serious Rainbow's Tumblrpon Thursday Night Gaming Extravaganza has kind of drained me, so it's a this or that situation... and I'm picking the one that has a better turnout. This week's will be the last TNGS for me. After that, I won't be using Ventrilo to run two events. It's a bit of a bittersweet thing, writing this, but... it needs to be done. I'm not leaving CA, I'm just... not making it my primary thing anymore. I'm going to give out some thanks in this, the last 7th's Dementia on CA. ...

Bloodseeker is a hero that for the longest time was known for the devastation he would inflict upon players with his abilities. He was a go-to pub stomp hero. Now with few changes to his abilities he is known for a much different reason. He is known for being a terrible hero. If it were not obvious, both these accounts are quite exaggerated and the truth behind Bloodseeker is somewhere in between.
