(please note how the date is written. that's how we do things in the greatest country in the world, ichthys)

sixteenth PUG Night december 23rd, 9:30pm EST

please post in this thread or show up early in order to make sure you get a spot in the first games. if you post but are more than 5 minutes late, you run the risk of losing your spot.

if there is enough interest, we can consider trying a newer map that is being used in TWL this season, cp_waste (http://www.tf2maps.net/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=2772).

please note that ventrilo AND A MICROPHONE is MANDATORY to participate.

lol
mm/dd/yyyy is American
dd/mm/yyyy is Canadian/British

yyyy/mm/dd is what people use for there to be no confusion

Unless there's a 23rd month, most intelligent people shouldn't have a problem with it. Of course, considering CouchAthletics is officially a U.S. company, I'd say we use the U.S. standard.

I'll stick to the International Standard (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_8601)

I'm used to thinking about it as if I were speaking it.

So the 23rd of Decemeber(12), 2009. dd/mm/yyyy. Seems like it lines up with my Canadianism.

And Americans tend to say December 23rd, 2009, so yea...

Although I'll admit it will change depending on context.

Is there any way we can get this on the pub servers so we have a change to try it out first?

it is a fairly new map so the admins may want to give it a while before adding it to the main rotation, but i have requested that it be uploaded to the public servers if possible.

I'm pretty sure waste has been on the servers before, in at least one of its incarnations, anyway (there's a ctf, pl, koth, arena, cp, and cp_v2, afaik), so getting v2 on the server shouldn't be too horrible of an idea, I hope. It's actually a pretty good map, though i've admittedly never played it in a full server.

I've added cp_waste_v2 to both public, and Serious Business. I'll track it's play time, and see how it does.
