Xbox Live Gold Prices Going Up

Microsoft makes a lot of money on Xbox Live Gold subscriptions, but I guess it's not enough.  Maybe they need the money to hire more staff for server upgrades or perhaps they're just greedy but only Microsoft will know that.  Just how much are they raising the prices?  Not that much, but it'll sure add up for them. Hit the jump for details.

What's Next For Team Fortress 2? PC Gamer Interviews Robin Walker

After the last update for TF2, the fans are wondering where the game will go to next.  PC Gamer got an interview with project lead Robin Walker for a massive two part interview with wonderful tidbits of information on future plans for TF2 and killing off any fears that the game will stop getting updates any time soon.  I'm sure all your major questions will be answered by this so check out part 1 and part 2.  It's well worth the read for even minor fans of the game.  You just can't beat Valve's dedication to what they create.

Torchlight II Trailer. The Devs Really Listened To The Fans

I mentioned earlier in the month that Torchlight II was announced and it has cooperative play.  That alone had me searching the internet for any tidbit of extra information I could come up with.  Sadly, nothing extra was revealed at the time.  However, there was a new reveal at Gamescom 2010.  Focus your eyes on the screen and hit the jump to watch some footage of Torchlight II coop in action.

Torchlight 2 In 2011!

RPG fans rejoiced today as Runic Games announced the sequel to their highly praised Torchlight series. It's the perfect game for anyone who is still clinging to the hope of Blizzard releasing Diablo 3 in the next 4 years.  If that wasn't big enough news for existing fans there's more after the jump that got my mouth watering in anticipation.

Want To See A Small Child Die A Lot? Check Out LIMBO

Just the game I was looking for to pull me away from my computer and back to my dust covered Xbox 360. I enjoy a lot of puzzle games even though I'm absolutely terrible at them. (I give up too quickly)  This one caught my attention mostly because of the art style.  The more videos I watched, the more I was drawn to it.  If you don't know what LIMBO is you better hit the jump and watch the video so you can find out what you're missing.

New Mortal Kombat Trailer. For A Game, Not A Movie

We recently saw the push for a new Mortal Kombat movie.  A new game wasn't far behind that.  The trailer was just released and they are certainly going back to the heart of the game.  Puddles of blood and disgustingly awesome fatalities.  Not to mention it's back to 2D so you don't have to worry about camera positions anymore.  Check out the trailer after the jump.

Crysis 2 Gameplay Video Released

I played Farcry, Farcry 2, Crysis and Crysis Warhead but could never complete them.  None of them turned out to be my style of game for very long.  That being said, I'm still excited about Crysis 2.  It'll likely end up in the same boat, but it still looks great.  The first released gameplay video is after the jump.  The voice cutting in and out was kind of annoying but hey, it's a pretty game so just watch and enjoy.

MAG's Kill Count Is Quite High

PS3 exclusive 256-player first person shooter, MAG, has reached 1-billion kills in the 5 months since its release.  I'm rather impressed with this since I didn't think it would do that well.  Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the game and had planned on buying it up at one point, but 1.7 million unique users have played and enjoyed reaching this achievement by killing about 12 million players a day.  That's a lot of dead pixels.  Always good to see a new IP succeed.

HL2: Episode 3 Not The E3 Surprise?

We know Valve cancelled the Portal 2 event in place of a surprise.  What we don't know is what that surprise is, obviously.  We've all made our guesses at what's going to be there.  Episode 3? Left 4 Dead 3? L4D2: Episode 1?  Well, an email from Gabe simply said "It isn't ep 3".  So what now?  A few of my guesses after the jump.

Deus Ex 3: Human Revolution Gameplay Screenshots

This game is seemingly getting better and better the more I know about it.  I'm less afraid of the fact that Warren Spector isn't working on it and enjoying the fact that it can be seen as basically a stand-alone game.  Real in-game screenshots have been released and I had a hard time telling them apart from the pre-rendered shots.  The lack of anti-aliasing gave it away, but the game looks fantastic.  Check out the screenshots.
