Wednesday MMO Report
|Is it just me, or did E3 actually have a decent amount of MMO news? This week we’ve seen a few updates, in both patching and in news, and as always some awesome videos. The thing I’m most excited for is Warhammer 40k: Dark Millennium. For serious, I’ve been waiting for this MMO since high school, I’m not even kidding. Even still, I’m not sure how I’m going to choose that over The Old Republic. I’ve been waiting for THAT game since I was a small child. I’m pretty certain my high school self could beat up my child self, but I wonder who’d be the most determined, especially since in high school I was playing Everquest. There were no MMORPGs when I was watching Star Wars for the first time, so maybe TOR will win. It’s not important, onto the n
Wednesday MMO Report
|It’s E3! E3 is a big time for console games mostly, but occasionally some PC titles get thrown into the mix or are mixed in because they’re scheduled for a multi-platform release. This usually doesn’t bode well for MMO gamers, because MMOs are seldom the spotlight of any one company’s roster of new titles they’re looking to show off. This year has been a small exception though. If you’re at E3 or got to be at E3, chances are you got to play some MMOs that were on the floor, but if you weren’t, there were a few trailers that leaked out during E3. In fact, this is almost all trailers, hit the jump to see what E3 produced and what little MMO news there is out there in the pre-E3 time. Hit the jump to see all the trailers in the world.

*UPDATE: Thanks to Roland Deschain, the trailer can be viewed after the jump.

FUNimation and Bioware Team Up for Dragon Age Anime
|EA announced today that, like Halo and Dante's Inferno before it, Dragon Age: Origins will be getting an anime film. Created in conjunction with FUNimation, the movie is slated for a home video release next year. The most interesting thing to pull from this announcement, however, is the idea that this film will "continue the robust Dragon Age story." Yes. Please.
Wednesday MMO Report
|This week we take a look more at the Star Warsy side of things, as well as dashing hopes, Going Rogue, and some other fun stuff. A little light on the news this week, but that's to be expected with E3 right around the corner. I hope what I have is adequate and be ready for what I'm sure will be a little bit more next week.
Mass Effect Multiplayer?
|An eagle-eyed reader was browsing LinkedIn and came across a job posting for Bioware. Normally this wouldn't spark anyone's interest except people actually looking for a job, but the job title is not something you'd see on a single player only game. "Multiplayer Programmer (Mass Effect Franchise)".
