Medal of Honor first impressions. (Video)

Hey guys, I'm just posting my first night with the Medal of Honor beta.  I'll have the livestream up in my vent comment, or you can follow the videos to find my livestream.  I should be playing some more tomorrow.  You can only hear me talking in the videos, but the person I'm talking to is actually Poonzone, I'm not talking to myself.  There are about 3 videos total on the livestream with Medal of Honor beta in them.  Here ya go.

Trying to get into the MoH beta? We are too.

Medal of Honor

So, here it is, 6PM EST on June 17th, 2010 and I'm sitting at my desk playing the recently released Magic: The Gathering game because I pre-ordered Medal of Honor and am waiting for the beta.  Unfortunately, it's not just me waiting for my beta key, but just about everyone.  Many people are thinking that it's their preferred method of pre-order.  Gamestop, Steam, EA store, these are the venues people have gone through and imagine their problem is localized.  I'm here to tell you it's not, and I'm here to tell you that it's unlikely that if we do play today, it will be today very long.  Hit the jump to find out why.

Medal of Honor has a release date, a beta date, and looks AWESOME.

Medal of Honor release date details

Medal of Honor just announced with platforms, release date, and beta date.  Good news is, if you purchased Battlefield: Bad Company 2, you get to access the beta EVEN EARLIER than those who pre-ordered the game.  Not only does Medal of Honor look like a pretty amazing game, but with the Multiplayer designed by Dice it looks like the modern day war shooter we've been waiting for since MW2 let the PC gaming community down last year.  Hit the jump for details.

It's EA week on Steam starting with Crysis 50% off.

EA Week on Steam featuring Crysis

Steam is known for it's absurdly amazing sales, sales that brick and mortar stores couldn't compete with. They're flexing their sales muscle this week with EA week.  EA week kicks off today, Monday, with a 50% off Crysis and a 60% off Crysis: Warhead.  Combine the prices and you've got both Crysis + Warhead for only $20.  Not a bad deal at all.  Expect crazy deals like this all week from Valve and EA, and keep an eye on the CA front page for updates when they happen.  You never know what kind of insane price drop they'll think of next, especially during E3 week.  We'll keep you up to date on EA week.  Who's going for it?  Not a bad price for Crysis.

Mass Effect 2 demo and DLC "Overlord" announced

You can find the demo right on the front page of the Mass Effect 2 website, Xbox of course has a 1.5GB demo download up right now.  Hit the jump to find out more about the demo and some things that we'll see tomorrow.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 four-pack now on Steam!

This took me a few minutes to understand.  Available now on Steam is the four pack for Battlefield: Bad Company 2.  Now, the four pack is usually reserved for games where you want to play with 3 friends, so you guys all want to go in on the game and save a little cash.  Borderlands, 4 player co-op.  Left4Dead1/2, 4 player co-op.  Battlefield: Bad Company 2, 1 player single-player, 32-man multi-player, huh?  Oh right, four person squads!  Hit the jump to find out more on this awesome deal.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is SOOOO popular.

Wowzers!  I never say that, but I'll say it now!  Wowzers!  Battlefield: Bad Company 2 had a pretty rough start, so rough in fact that our server didn't fill up until today.  This was due to a server error on EA's end that would drop connections after a period of being connected.  A strange error but one that was resolved earlier today.  This is good news for server hosts, and especially good news for Couch Athletics.  Hit the jump to find out super awesome good stuff for the community.
