We're looking for a few gamers who are intersted in helping out the community to apply for a few jobs we need filled. Please note that if you feel that you are talented or just generally okay in ANY of the fields that you should at least apply as we're looking to fill these spots immediately. Keep in mind that these are not paid positions. We are unable to compensate you for any work you do on the website.
News Poster - Looking for news junkies who are interested in gamingor technology. Must be able to form opinions about said news articles and generate good conversation. Must be self-motivated. Contact: Greg Hughes
Event Managers/Assistants - With the amount of weekly and pre-planned events CA has on the horizon, we are looking for some extra help to give us a hand with running events. All you'll have to do is be willing to give one or two of you weekend evenings at least once a month to help run events. Associate Reviewer - Looking for a few motivated game reviewers for an upcoming project. You must have a strong grasp of the English language and have access to some newly released games, preferably able to acquire them on the day of release. Must be able to meet deadlines without questions and should have a general knowledge of the gaming industry as a whole. Contact: Greg Hughes
Plugin Designer - We need someone who has skill with designing small scale plugins and/or adaptations for servers on the fly. As with the Resident Artist the Plugin Designer will be looking at a 3 to 7 day timeframe to get work done with little notice ahead of time generally. Professional level skills are not a requirement as most or all of the work will be small scale and used in limited circumstances. Skill with modeling or texturing programs are a plus. System Administrator - We are looking for a system administrator. You must be familiar with Linux, MySQL, and Apache. Knowledge of PHP or other coding/scripting languages is a plus. The position is mainly reactive, and most of the work is done to the game servers. Contact: Type-Zero
