At least they've realized how bad an idea a 3D sonic game was. Or they saw the success of super mario WII and realize people still like old style side scrolling video game goodness.

a 3D sonic game can work, Sonic Adventure 1 was actually really good despite some wonky camera angles. But i do agree that after that, every 3D sonic game was terrible. Imean come on... Sonic and THE BLACK KNIGHT? I wish i could run over who ever suggested that and then the person who gave it the go-ahead.

If I know team Sonic, and boy I know team Sonic, this is gonna be a massive dissappointment. The last good Sonic game was made by Bioware. Just sayin.

man I hope this doesn't turn out like that "next gen" sonic the hedgehog that came out with the 360. awesome trailer, then massive dissapointment.

If they stick to the playstyle they are claiming, a classic sidescroller like it's predesessors, I might do something extreme like buying a system to play it.

I'm happy that they aren't just putting it on a single download site. That Wii, the Xbox360 and the PS3(which I own) will have access to it.

I wonder, based on the graphic demands of the game how the Wii will handle it.
