Clan & Team Sponsorship
Here at Couch Athletics, we like clans, teams, and other general small groups of friends, and as such, we have setup a sponsorship program for such groups.
So what is the Couch-Athletics Clan & Team Sponsorship Program you ask? It's simple, really, any clan with at least 100 hours of playtime on our TF2 servers can get their own private 10 man vent channel and access to the private server for their matches and scrims!
Down to the nitty-gritty of the deal. In order to get your Clan vent channel and server access rites, here's what you have to do:
1) All of your members must use your clan tag in game so that we can track your hours logged per month. Your clan must also have a cumulative total between all your players of at least 100 hours in the past month.
2) Additionally, at least 6 members (Minimum CAL Team requirement) must be registered on our forums, and your Leader or Manager must have an account for us to give access to on the forums.
3) Have your Clan leader or manager contact me via forum-PM letting me know that you want to become a Sponsored Clan. I will need you to include your clan tag and member list as well so that we may check your team's hours played and registered forum members.
All Clan channels will be on our public Ventrilo server located at ventrilo.couchathletics.com:28587. In order to get your channel, your Leader or Manager will have to send me your clan name or tag and a preferred password for your channel, you can then log onto our Ventrilo server and join the channel at any time, to make use of as you wish.
In order to gain access to the private server for matches and scrims your Leader and/or Manager will be given special access on the forums to view a private forum where s/he and the other Leaders and Managers can work out timeslots for matches/scrims if any conflicts arise in scheduling. The Server IP and Password will be posted in a stickied topic in the private forum.
As members of the Couch Athletics community, you will be expected to follow the same rules as everyone else, being a Preferred Clan does not give you Preferred Player slots to the TF2 servers or rights over other players. Any rule infractions severe enough to cause any of your Clan members to be banned from our public servers will put your vent and private server access in serious jeopardy, repeated issues will result in rights and privileges being revoked permanently.
