Nintendo has started claiming the ad revenue for videos featuring gameplay from their games.

Seems to me that they're shooting themselves in the foot by stifling a major incentive to produce this kind of free advertising for them.

But this does open up an interesting discussion about how many people profit off of content they didn't create or add comparatively little to.
