Couch Athletics is created and maintained by a group of like minded gamers. The purpose of the website is explained in our mission statement.
Couch Athletics Gaming Community strives to provide a content enriched networked community environment to meet the demand of the modern gamer. We strive to provide our customers with the best gaming experience they can possibly have.
Paying us or not, you're who we're catering to. We want to make YOU, the gamer, very happy and we want to make YOU, the gamer, come back and think about us for all of your gaming needs.
You can check out the Preferred Player information thread. They'll show you both the requirements, and what to do after you meet the requirements befitting a preferred player.
A preferred player is offered a few extra privileges over a normal player.
-Able to connect to the TF2 servers, even when full
-Able to start Kick, Ban, and Map votes
-Will no longer be kicked automatically for being idle
-Can chat with admins while nobody else can see

Absolutely! We have a donations button in the template!
We have many costs around here at Couch Athletics, and we're building and maintaining not only the website, but servers for free. Sometimes, it'd be nice for our wallets if we got a little help from the community to pay for a few of the expenses around here. Any surplus also goes to new servers that you'll enjoy!
At this time, we have no special compensation for a donation, don't let that deter you from donating, we keep very close records of who donates and have great plans for the future!
