It's Friday, I'm exhausted, and I should be napping right now but I have a feeling instead I'll be playing some vidja games.  This week I was digging around for an HDMI cable and instead found my love for Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War 2.  Not only that, but the gang has been playing a lot of monopoly lately on pogo.com.  Pretty ridiculous that instead of spending all of my time playing vidja games like a good little gamer, I'm actually staring at a screen and playing a board game online with a few friends that are actually within walking distance of my residence.  One word for that, lazy.

Another Friday is upon us, which generally means drinking, fun, excitement, and a whole bunch of other crap I wouldn't touch ever.  Speaking of other crap, the community has decided what game to fawn over this weekend.  It's spacey, it's pretty, it's full of destruction, and most importantly it's free!   This weekend the CA community, aside from the obvious league and captain's night, will be playing Shattered Horizon, free for the masses as long as you have a STEAM account, and since those too are free, everyone is welcome to join in on the shenanigans.

It's snowing in just about every city except Chicago.  What a wonderful day it's been.  All day the sun has been shining brightly through the bottle of whiskey on my desk.  But while it's been sunny outside, I've been keeping the blinds closed so I can fit as much gaming into my day as possible.  Tonight I make my decision on whether or not I pick up Dante's Inferno, but that's not the biggest decision of my weekend. No, the biggest decision is going to be on which game I should play.  I'm feeling some Fallout 3, I've been watching Mad Men all week and am DYING for some 1960s post-apocalyptic fun.  On the other hand, all this Halo: Reach news is making me want to play some Halo: ODST.  I want to get some firefight in!  Hit the jump for more Friday Funday.

Another Friday looms upon us, and that can only mean one thing.  Roughly 60+ hours of nothing but video games and energy drinks.  That's right, the weekend is a barren wasteland of free time, and you're going to stuff it with more gaming than entirely necessary or could be considered healthy.  That's why you're here. So I need to know what games you're going to be playing, for personal research of course.  But what better way than showing off how much you're playing by telling us all, like a circle of sad addicted shut-ins.  I'm sick! But that just means I won't be leaving my house to play games, I'm still going to be playing them all day.

I know, most of you are nursing hangovers, and the younger members are actually in envy of those of you who envy the non-drinkers, it's a vicious cycle.  So you're either trying to sleep or play video games.  Most of you are gaming, and bless you all.  For if it wasn't for you, the year 2009 wouldn't have been one of the most successful and fun years at Couch Athletics than all years prior.  Of course, that's simply because every year just keeps getting better right?

So amidst all the fun and excitement of this new year, we need to remember that last year was the past, and although is was pretty sweet, the next year is going to be even better!  Let's start it off right, what games are you going to be WASTING THE FIRST WEEKEND OF THE YEAR ON?

It's Friday, and many of you are stuffed with Turkey.  It's 1pm, which means most of the Black Friday sales are over, and many of you are home so stuffed and half-dead from being awake all day, the best you can do is park yourself in front of a TV or monitor and play games until you pass out.

My only question, WHAT ARE YOU PLAYING?!

Fridays only come once a week, and that's why here at Couch Athletics like to celebrate them with crazy Friday posts.  It's the beginning of the weekend, time to let that hair down and settle in for an entire weekend of nothing but video games.  That's right everyone, callous up those thumbs and get ready for a blast of a weekend.  Of course, what we're curious about are the games you'll be playing that aren't Silly Business or Captain's Night, because let's face it, OF COURSE you're going to support the community by showing up to those.

Look guys, I know I was supposed to have this up earlier, and I forgot to do it last weekend, which is why I'm doing it now.  Yes, it's 4 in the morning for some of you, yes I'm pretty drunk still, but YES, it is ready for weekend!  My question to you is a very simple one.

It's time for another sexy sexy Friday, and this Friday is you!  In our culture, it seems that no matter how relevant something is, it's always far more relevant when the people it involves are sexy!  Right now, we're curious as to what games people are playing, but we're even more curious about what people in the sexy Couch Athletics community are playing.

Oh man, what a madnessful Friday!  Today, I went out to my sister's and attempted to install a wireless network.  Unfortunately, Comcast is to blame!  But fear not, before that I was playing video games, and now that I'm home, more video games!

This week I'll be playing some Batman, World of Warcraft, TF2, and Mass Effect.  What in the name of Sam Hill will you all be playing?
